Chris Vermeulen is a very savvy trader and even he was taken by surprise by the stock market's Trump rally. Especially by its strength and ferocity and he sees no immediate end in site. It could go on and on. But it won't necessarily be bad for commodities and precious metals. He's seeing very bullish signs in those markets as well. So are we living in the best of all possible worlds?

For over a decade, Jason was groomed at two of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, Germany’s Bayer AG and US-based Johnson and Johnson before expanding his successful career into leading specialty pharmaceutical, biotech and device companies in their pursuit of growth and capital. Then he happened upon 3DSignatures, which he described as a diamond in the rough. The quality of the research and technology coming out of the company was truly astounding. They may close to a number of major breakthroughs in the diagnosis and treatment of disease through the 3D Telomere Analysis. Without getting into a major dissertation on the subject, it enables scientists to analyze a particular portion of the chromosome, which Jason likens to the cap on a shoelace. The immediate applications are amazing, such as far more accurate prostate cancer tests, and personalized treatment plans for many different types of cancer. In fact 3DSignatures is working on 14 different diseases at this moment. Exciting times in biotech.

Poor Meryl Streep. She just can't deal with the prospect of a President Trump. Who would have ever believed that she was part of a persecuted class? Her career and her reputation have taken a permanent well-deserved hit. Next we talked about the savages who attacked and tortured a mentally disabled white man in Obama's hometown of Chicago. It was a sickening display of barbarity. Just like Black Lives Matter, which should be declared a terrorist organization by the incoming president. Obama has fostered an environment of lawless and encouraged attacks on the police. No wonder murder and mayhem are increasing across the country.

Danielle joined us after a much deserved rest. She's rightly skeptical of the latest of manifestation of stock market mania, Trumphoria. While the US indexes are at or near record levels, the rest of the world is having trouble keeping up. Eventually there will be a day of reckoning, but when? Perhaps when ethics return, not just to corporations and government, but to society at large. But then maybe we're hoping for too much too fast.

Bix Weir joined us today. He believes that the jury is still out on Donald Trump. We won't know until Trump takes over and we see what he does with the Exchange Stabilization Fund. Will he turn his back on it or embrace it? It's difficult to tell from Trump's appointments exactly what his intentions are. Some of his people are definitely outside the mainstream, while others are less so. However, government by Tweet has definitely been shaking things up. And Bitcoin has been shaking up the monetary system too. Briefly breaking $1000 it's taking a breather now at $900, getting ready for the next leg up.

Daniel Greenfield is sick of the corruption and evil of the United Nations. It accomplishes little and wastes much. It has become the exclusive province of dictators and human rights violators. It's time to reclaim this valuable land on Manhattan's East River and turn it into high value condominiums. It will also free up large amounts of parking. The experiment in world governance has been a complete failure.

Our friend from across the Pond, Alasdair McCleod joined us today. He believes that Trump's success will bring higher interest rates and higher commodity prices. More inflation and perhaps a driving out of investment from markets to the real economy. But can the economy take it higher real rates? What happens if they hit 5 percent? Will it crash the banks and the markets? We might very well find out soon.

With all the good economic news, why worry? Everything is growing, good inflation is back and Keynsian Economics is working, right? But all is not well. Debt has been escalating at an unsustainable rate. The net result has been an expanding economy, but at what price? It can't continue on this way. We're simply stealing tomorrow's growth and reporting it today. Sounds like a real recipe for long term success.

2016 was the best of all possible worlds for virtually every market, except two, Uranium and the Euro. Every other market was up, most substantially. Bitcoin, the big winner was up 122%! NatGas was up a whopping 72%! Stock markets around the globe were all up with the TSX.V up 46% and the Russell 2000 up 19.5%. Precious metals had their best performance in years. How can 2017 be any better? Will the DOW break 20,000? Let's wait and see.

Questions of a Trump Troop Do we really need transgender troops and female infantry fighters? Are they a plus or a major liability? The colonel thinks they hurt our fighting ability and he's probably correct. We need a major military rebuilding done now!

While Obama has spent the past 8 years putting America down, Vernuccio believes that Donald Trump is on the right path to Making America Great again. From repealing Obama's overarching executive orders on day one, reneging on his abusive gentlemen's agreements overseas, to abolishing Obama's and many other president's abusive regulation, Frank sees Trump as on a mission. Will he succeed where others have failed?

This was my second trip to Cuba in a year. This time I brought along an ace interpreter, my son Brandon. What a difference a year makes. The country is truly a mess. Much of its once glorious architecture is in a pronounced state of decay. Ill maintained buildings routinely collapse, leaving large gaps around the city. But there seems to be much construction activity and the blighted streets of Old Havana have been repaved. Much to talk about. Next my friend and sponsor Jason Hartman has much reason to be optimistic about the incoming Trump Administration. One of the major obstacles to increased real estate investment has been the much derided Dodd-Frank Act. It has placed numerous barriers in this market that the new Trump Team seems hell bent on reducing or eliminating. Right now, Jason is the only one talking about it, but as usual, he's the visionary. Get ready for a fresh wave of investment. And as always much, much more.

Kamal's new book, Rebirth (published by Hachette, coming out January 3rd), is the creative byproduct of his entrepreneurship journey and life lessons. His previous works have some incredibly touching reviews on Amazon, including many discussing how the book saved or changed their lives. His journey from virtual pennilessness to running a venture capital fund, takes him on a journey to his ancestral home to scatter his recently departed father's ashes in the Ganges River. But it turns out to be much more profound, as he slowly realizes his life's purpose and his reason for being.

2017 is here and so are Deutsche Bank and Banco Mont Paschi. But this bandaid approach isn't going to fix the system. 2016 started out with great pessimism and ended with great optimism. Looks like 2017 will be the mirror image. Stay tuned!
