Jason Hartman has planned a trip to Jekyll Island, birth place of the Federal Reserve. It will be taking place the first weekend in May. I will be attending and it promises to be fun-filled and informative. We will tour the very rooms where the secretive banking cabal set the gears in motion to create the most powerful financial institution the world has ever known.

We also discussed the Panamanian document breach and what it tells us about the most powerful people on the planet. Quite obviously there are two sets of rules, one for the masses and the other for the elites. That's the way the system was designed and why you need to find relief.

Finally, they're coming for your IRA, if not now-then later. It's just a matter of when. They're just too attractive a target and a source of funding for a bankrupt government. So get ready now, so we don't have to tell you, "We told you so!"

Doug Casey is bullish on the resource sector. He believes that it has hit bottom and will be going up from here. On the government and human front he's not so optimistic. The sociopaths who run things are more concerned about the well-being of government rather than the people. For this reason it grows like a cancer and eventually consumes all in its path. But Doug believes that as long as WWIII doesn't take place, humanity will ultimately find its way and move forward. However, there will be much suffering and unpleasantness as the Greater Depression rears its ugly head once again.

John writes, "Corporate profitability is one of the canaries in today’s financial coal mine. If companies are making more money each year they tend to hire more people, pay more taxes and generally make life easier for everyone else. But when earnings decline, everything from government budgeting to personal financial planning gets much harder.

Viewed through this lens, 2015 was a 'coming to grips' year in which the financial markets vacillated over the meaning of falling corporate profits: Are they an aberration or the new normal?"

David Morgan, author of The Silver Manifesto joined us today. We reviewed the the Northwest Territorial Mint Bankruptcy and its implications for the bullion market. It's always a good idea to split up your purchases and don't put all your eggs in one basket. Multiple dealers are a good idea. At least if you buy on eBay, they will stand behind their sellers and issue you a refund in the event of non-delivery. Now in the wake of NWT's bankruptcy, there's hundreds if not thousands of buyers left holding the bag.

Next we discussed the current state of the precious metals markets. David sees 2016 as a net positive and he believes the real upside action is reserved for 2017. Either, he believes that a bottom has probably been put in, but you never know.

Andrew Zatlin takes a numbers based approach to the economy. He believes that employment has peaked and it's going down from here. This will stretch profits at many firms and lead to cost cutting and more layoffs, which further perpetuates the cycle. Stocks will probably head lower for the year and in 2017, watch out for the dividend payers, there might be substantial cuts in payouts.

It's always important to look back and review your past as well as looking ahead to where the future may take you. Jason does that regularly and looking back at 2015 he sees that he missed on oil and gold. Who could have expected oil to crash to decades low levels? As far as gold, it's always hard to catch a falling knife. But looking ahead at 2016, the trends in place will continue. The sheeple still don't get it, but some are waking up now.

A massive document breach from on of the world's shadiest law firms has already resulted in the resignation of Iceland's Prime Minister. Nothing worse than having those secret off-shore bank accounts becoming public. It will be interesting to see who's quitting next. The subterfuge and deceit has risen to the surface and perhaps the world will never again be the same.

Gary Poier has been helping people to plan and enjoy their retirements for many years. As Gary says, it's not just about material comfort, it's all about What's Next! When you stop working, you've got to repurpose your life. Retirement is a time of great opportunity, if you only recognize it as so and plan accordingly.

Antonin Scalia's recent passing was truly a loss to American Jurisprudence. The well-mannered high intellect attempted to do the impossible, restore the Supreme Court to where the rule of law reigns supreme. To some extent he was effective, however, the thought that the law determines the case, rather than the case determining the law, still has some ways to go. Kevin Ring, has updated his book on Scalia's Court: A Legacy of Landmark Opinions and Dissents. In this well done volume, we get a rare insight into a man who always put the law above all else.

Bruce Price writes, The first schools, the first great universities, were focused on knowledge: figuring out what it is, collecting and verifying it, and passing it on from teachers to students.

Our K-12 schools have drifted far away from this ideal.  Knowledge itself is disparaged.  The transmission of knowledge is sneered at.  These shifts are huge and destructive, and they are by design.

Consider what any real school looks like: judo schools, medical schools, language schools, flight schools, bartending schools, flower-arranging schools.  All possess a body of knowledge they strive to give to the next generation.

That's not what our public schools are focused on now.

It used to be well understood that the human race is divided into uneducated people (they don't know anything) and educated people (they know lots of information).  Creating educated people takes work, by the school and the student.  K-12 no longer believes in the importance of that work.

March came in like lion and it went out like a lamb as the saying goes. Virtually every market, everywhere saw positive increases, the exceptions being Uranium and BitCoin. Stocks were up, especially resource and emerging market shares. Metals were up and so were energy prices. We are truly living in the best of all possible worlds!

Two major leaked stories came out over the weekend, with another one right on their heels. First there was a telephone conversation transcript with to high level IMF officials discussing the right way to handle Greece and keep the EU together, mainly a credit event. Who would have thought such a thing possible? Then a major Panamanian law firm--Mossack-Fonseca--who's client roster looks like a who's who of billionaires, oligopolists and other ne'er do wells had 2.6 terabytes of data released to the public. The initial fallout implicates Vladimir Putin and the Prime Minister of Iceland as having hidden foreign bank accounts. Stay tuned, there's lots more to follow. Putin who knows where all the bodies are buried and will be buried is certainly going to retaliate as we enter the true Info Wars.

Finally, there's a former lawyer who wants to release the late DC Madam's Black book. He claims that the information contained therein could change the course of the election. Is he right? John thinks we will find out very shortly.

Oleg Eydelman has been in the life settlement business for 14 years. This little known finance niche could be your key to unlocking major wealth, from what's now little more than a liability. Many people purchase insurance earlier in their lives for different reasons. Sometimes it's to protect a young family, pay off a mortgage in the event of an untimely passing or perhaps to pay estate taxes. Often these are term policies, but not always. And your needs may have changed so, if you are over 65 years old and have an unwanted life insurance policy, there are many investors around the country who will buy it from you at a substantial portion of its face value. It could be a term policy, whole life or even universal life. It's all in the actuarial tables. If it's of interest to you, Oleg will do a free no obligation valuation of your policy and you can decide if it's worth selling and he will field offers from 3rd party investors. You have nothing to lose but your premium payments.

Wipeout Wednesdays with Andrew Hoffman:

Janet Yellen's hyperinflationary speech yesterday - at her decidedly "unofficial" NY Economic Club speech yesterday
-per the title of this week's articles, "the most transparent lie of all time" (of already debunked Fed propaganda of 1Q GDP growth), and the "countdown to total, irreversible Central bank failure" - the end game of an historic global currency crisis is nearly upon us
Current state of the PM markets
-per my "COT's no longer matter, part II" and "About those COTs" articles of the past two weeks

Writer and noted radio commentator Lowell Ponte joins for another installment. Is the fate of the United States similar to what Baltimore has been going through? Lowell believes that it could well be the case, if something isn't done soon. It will require everyone standing up and refusing to allow the country to continue on its present course. Will that happen?

Former Congressman John LeBoutillier believes that it's anyone's election on both sides of the aisle. He's unconvinced that Trump will take the nomination. In addition, Hillary Clinton is no lay-up either. This is the strangest election in history and don't be surprised by anything that happens next!

Ivan Eland believes that Obama's new open door policy towards Cuba is the right thing to do. Clearly, the old "isolate and contain" policy hasn't been effective. It's been 57 years and the Castro Brothers are still running the show. Ivan believes that their desire to loosen up restrictions on the population is being done out of necessity. The US has very little control over the communist nation and our best bet is to let tourism and capitalism work their magic upon the Cuban People. Will it work? Probably not, the Cubans must rise up and throw off their shackles.

Joseph Farah started the first real Internet news site back in 1997, geared towards conservatives and free market thinkers. Almost 20 years later, the site has exceeded his expectations, being consistently rated a top site. While being Editor-In-Chief and CEO is a full time job in and of itself, Joseph continues writing his daily column and is never at a loss for an opinion. While he's admittedly a Cruz supporter, he believes that Trump has what it takes to beat Hillary in the general election and that's what really matters.

John Rubino recently wrote about the impending crisis in Europe, there's just not enough new workers to help pay for the retirees getting ready to enter the system. It seems that they adopted a pay as you go system that never even pretended to set aside reserves for future retirees. Now, people are living longer and there's not enough new workers to pay the retired workers' tab. This leaves governments few choices to fund this growing burden. Immigration isn't working too well and this leaves the tried and true method of inflating away debts. But there's always a cost!

There's a bull market in Lithium going on right now. Prices are up, supplies are down and demand is skyrocketing. Sounds like a perfect time to get into the market. Our partner, Lithium-X is doing exactly that. They've got deposits in Nevada and Argentina and are in the market to make wise acquistions. Unlike many other types of mining, governments are going wild for Lithium, greasing the skids and speeding up the permitting process. The reasons are simple, global demand is outstripping supply and electric cars promise untold environmental benefits. At present time, there's no substitute for Lithium Batteries in powering electric vehicles and a myriad of electronic devices that modern man cannot live without. Add to Bryan's legendary partners in the venture, Frank Giustra and Paul Matysek and you've got a great pathway to success and profits.

Christa Huff, financial analyst and investing expert is speaking out loudly against the TPP (Trans Pacific Partnership). This agreement is initially between the US and 12 Asian Countries that border the Pacific. Christa says that it will diminish US sovereignty and subject Americans and corporations to International Courts. In addition, China and other countries can join this agreement without the approval of the Congress. All in all a very bad deal for US, whose industries have been greatly damaged by unfair trade.

Whatever happened to the doctor-patient relationship? Putting the patient's interests ahead of the doctor's or government or insurance company or hospital. Seems to have died an inglorious death. Today, March 23, 2016 is the 6th anniversary of the disaster/catastrophe known as Obamacare. Will it really be abolished by the republicans? Don't count on it. Trump and Cruz claim they will do it, but can they do it? But Dr. George says there's lots you can do to fight the system and protect your health and wealth. Start by joining Liberty HealthShare. You'll save thousands on your health insurance coverage. It's a healthcare cost sharing ministry, without the religious flare. Take a look!
