The recent Covid-19 pandemic has seen a rash of people revising their estate plans or creating them for the first time. Estate and tax laws change all the time and it's something that most of us, myself included, don't really want to deal with. My recent bout with Covid drove home this point only too well and led me to do a complete estate plan overhaul. But for the sake of modern medicine, I might have left my children with a real nightmare. Which is why you shouldn't wait for tragedy to strike, you need to take care of this now.
