John Grisham's new book goes after the fraudulent for-profit law school industry. That's right, it's based upon a true story/scam. But what enables these private pirates to pull these scams off and ruin people's lives in the process? Simple, unlimited government issued student loans. In the case of for-profit law schools, they take students that no self-respecting law school would admit. They run up the student loans to $200k and then the students must pass the bar exam (less than half do) and get a job that pays enough to start paying down student loans. And this is legal? More like legal theft. |

The magic stocks, Apple, Facebook, Google, Amazon just keep chugging along. And the market keeps going higher and higher. Part of it's earnings and part of it is lack of investment alternatives. Sam says the market will keep going up until it doesn't anymore, and then look out below. A trend in motion, stays in motion, until it stops. But when will the Wall Street Merry-go-Round come to a crashing halt? |

Former NH Supreme Court Judge Stephen Thayer writes, "In August, the FBI Counterterrorism Division produced a report entitled “Black Identity Extremists (BIE) Likely Motivated to Target Law Enforcement Officers.” The report states that Black Identity Extremists are killing law enforcement officers and warns there is a high likelihood they will continue to do so. The left takes issue with the report and continues to mislead the public. One would think Americans, regardless of race, color, creed or political persuasion would stand forcefully against the unlawful killing of anyone, particularly the assassination of law enforcement officers. However, the usual suspects like The Washington Post, ACLU and Black Lives Matter don’t address that issue because it’s contained in a report that doesn’t reflect the liberal narrative that U.S. law enforcement is infected by systemic racism. They are quick to renounce violence by extremists on the right but they don’t want you to know about the extremists on the left." Judge Thayer destroys the myth of institutionalized police racism. |
