Nick Santiago rejoined us for a look at the precious metals markets. He thinks the low is in but believes that there could be a retest. He didn't think there was enough volume on the last low but that it was a tradable low. He's not convinced about the new real estate boom either. Detroit is just the tip of iceberg. We're still running out of other people's money. Go to www.FinancialSurvivalNetwork.com for the latest info on the economy and precious metals markets

Ned W. Schmidt joined us for a review of gold and silver. He's convinced that the precious metals markets have bottomed. In addition, he believes that the gold miners have bottomed as well and that their performance will be helped by the extremely generous write-off's they have recently taken. This will help to turbo-charge their earnings once metal prices being their ascent. Ned's not expecting parabolic price metal price rises but thinks that gold could be in the $1400-1500 range by year end. Which would be perfectly acceptable. Is sugar or high fructose corn syrup evil or toxic? I don't know. But I have discovered the key to losing weight. It's really very simple but not very easy. Just eat less. I've spent a life time working on it and have finally figured out a way to do it. The "Happy Hour Reducing Plan." Here in Florida it works like a charm. Try it out wherever you may be. Gata's Bill Murphy spoke with us today about the apparent precious metals market bottom and JP Morgan's fleeing of the commodities markets. Why they're sticking with precious metals is a good question. Also, has England dumped hundreds of tons of gold? All good questions for which Bill would like straight answers. Good luck getting them. Always colorful and to the point, Bill has a nose for following the money or the gold. Go to www.FinancialSurvivalNetwork.com for the latest info on the economy and precious metals markets

www.FinancialSurvivalNetwork.com presents Trying to rebuild Detroit is just not going to work. Detroit needs to do things differently than any other city. This means abolishing the failing school system. It means contracting out the police department. It means redifining the core functions of what a city does. If Kevyn Orr simply goes about trying to recapture the good old days, he will simply add another chapter to what Detroit has been all about for the past 50 years, failure. Hopefully he'll see the light and realize that the old ways stopped working long ago and that it's time to try something new.
