Trump Fires Attorney General Jeff Sessions Attorney General Jeff Sessions Wednesday, following a yearlong public shaming campaign that has raised questions about whether the president improperly interfered with the Justice Department’s inquiry into Russian meddling in the 2016 election. Trump, who requested Sessions' resignation, named the attorney general's chief of staff Matthew Whitaker to serve as interim attorney general. Whitaker was Sessions' chief of staff and had been considered for a variety of jobs in the Trump administration, including the No. 2 post at Justice or as White House counsel. And now all hell is breaking loose with Democrats threatening new investigations and trying to get Whitaker to recuse himself concerning the Mueller Investigation. However, their efforts should prove unsuccessful according to John, it's clearly within the President's power to do so. 

Gordon T. Long has been watching auto sales for quite some time. Debt keeps going up and now sales are declining. Corporate debt has escalated and it has become a giant equity to debt swap. It can't keep going the way it's going and it won't. According to Gordon it's all just a matter of timing. The Fed will have to reverse course and flood the system with liquidity once again. Daddy where do business cycles come from?

He advises all young people to give up any attachment they may have to their native city or state and seek greener financial pastures elsewhere. There's plenty of low tax states and countries that will welcome you with open arms. Start thinking about it now, before you're the last one left to turn out the lights.

This might not be the beginning of the long awaited recession, but it certainly means that we're getting closer. The problem is that you never know you're in a recession until you look back a couple of years. Then it's very easy to see, but it's too late to do anything about it. Jeff writes, "Three Internet security experts have accused state-owned telecom giant China Telecom of diverting internal U.S. Internet traffic through China. The purpose, apparently, was corporate espionage."
 
According to Doug Madory, an expert on Internet traffic at Silicon Valley software maker Oracle, China Telecom’s network sent out false signals that diverted Internet traffic supposedly bound for the Verizon network onto the China Telecom network. The traffic passed through Hangzhou and other Chinese cities, and this went on undetected for an incredible 30 months, from late 2015 through 2017, according to Madory.

According to the good rabbi, the solution to so much of what ails us can be found in the Jewish Book of Wisdom, The Talmud. From Cannabis legalization to the welfare state to protecting personal rights, it's all there. Rabbi Ganz believes that the Talmud encourages government to get involved in civil issues and stay away from persona matters. The government is responsible for protecting us against external enemies and should not get involved in our eating or drug issues. Sounds almost Libertarian.

When it comes to government incompetence, few places can match New York’s. Corrupt labor laws, rapacious unions and bought and paid for politicians have led the CIty and State into a death spiral. It’s just one of many cities and states facing the burden of retiree pension and healthcare benefits. It’s underwater to the tune of $150 billion and counting. Get ready for the next meltdown.

Recently he became ensnarled in the Florida Governor’s race. Racist Andrew Gillum accused Horowitz of being a racist. Anyone who knows David understands the absurdity of the allegation. But the best defense is a good offense. Or so the left believes. But with David Horowitz they’ve met their match. 

George Matheus joined us to discuss survival strategies during a mass shooting event. As you know George has had a long career in law enforcement and has trained swat teams. Of course being armed can be a lifesaver in certain scenarios, however, there’s a lot more to survival than that. First and foremost you need situational awareness whenever you’re out in public. Have an escape plan for any possible emergency. Scope out the exits and if you’re with family, have a plan to find each other if you get separated. If there’s a shooter, keep moving and stay low. A moving target is much harder to hit than a stationary one. And unseen target is even harder. And finally, be prepared so you avoid panicking.
