John writes, "Three things happened this morning: The Labor Department reported a big jump in employment; the financial markets responded like kids on Christmas morning; and — with a few hours lag — level-headed analysts deconstructed the jobs report and found it to be mediocre at best. 

To take just a few of the high (or low) points:

• Americans are still leaving the labor force
• Most of the new jobs created are part-time
• The vast majority of those are in services, which is to say waiters and bartenders and such
• Most new hires are over 55"

So don't fret or get upset, remember that mediocre is the new perfect!

Jason Hartman returns with a discussion of the economy and the global war on cash. Government doesn't want you using cash, partly to track your every movement and partly as part of Financial Repression. Also, he shows how his system of buying single family homes for investment assures you a high rate of return in virtually any economy, inflationary, deflationary or stagnant. It really doesn't matter and with today's demographic trends; Millennials aren't looking to become homeowners and Jason's business has never been better.

Captain Capitalism has struck again. It probably has certain germicidal properties too, but we'll leave that for the proof of concept testing. Hopefully Aaron will be appearing on Shark Tank raising capital and eyebrows of the Sharks. Will it be a new hit on QVC, that remains to be seen or not seen.

Danielle Park and I discussed Senator Elizabeth Warren and her holy war against the banking cartel. While her words seem to have the ring of authenticity and she is the only politician making the case against the current economic system, her prescription is for more regulatory schemes like the Consumer Financial Protection Board, which just has the effect of shrinking competition and making credit more scarce and less available to those who need it most. Danielle believes she's peforming a valuable service by speaking truth to power, while I wonder whether she is genuine and authentic and I believe that she's just a voice for ever expanding government power and authoritarianism.

Mr. InTheMoneyStocks.com has been cleaning clock recently. Nick says that this is strictly a traders market. Buy and hold investors are getting killed. Gold is getting ready for another climb upwards. The world is awash in liquidity thanks to panicking central bankers and it's up to you to profit accordingly. Mickey joined us for our Major Monthly Market Review. Markets were very flat and dull during the month with the exception of WTI which had a nice rebound. NatGas continues in the doldrums dropping even more.  Copper has been going up steadily as well. Uranium took a hit as did the dollar. Bitcoin continues to drop. Precious metals remain fairly steady. Let's see if the old maxim, sell in May and go away holds true for 2015.

Inner City riots come and go, but the black family is becoming an endangered species. We talk with acclaimed radio show host Joe Messina about what happened and what can be done to save the Black Nuclear Family and why it must be done soon. Before the Great Society the number of children born out of wedlock in the black community was under 15 percent. Now it's many times higher than that. Was this a conscious plan? Joe has his opinion and we have ours, but the real reason why there's social unrest can be laid at the feet of the vanishing black father. 

Pej Barlavi has achieved significant success in both residential and commercial sales. He is very knowledgeable about the US housing market and trends in real estate. We discussed the challenges being faced in the Los Angeles real estate market due to the severe five year drought being faced today. Desalinisation is part of the solution is certainly part of the solution that needs to be pursued. Real estate markets on the coasts are continuing to appreciate substantially on the coasts. Pej thinks the trend will continue until interest rates start to rise. 

Something amazing has happened in the energy market. The cost of solar power has fallen to the point where, in a growing number of places, it’s cheaper than the electricity that utilities deliver from their coal-fired power plants. And its price is still falling. 

The implications are huge. Most of the world’s governments, for instance, have concluded that the burning of fossil fuels is destabilizing the climate and are considering fairly extreme measures to slow down the process. Now with Tesla's new entry into the home solar market things will only get more interesting, competitive and more efficient from here. Stay tuned.

Nick Barisheff author of Gold $10,000 joined us today. He says that China will soon disclose its massive gold hoard in an effort to join the IMF and have its currency included in the SDR (Special Drawing Right) which will become the new global reserve currency. This should have the effect of pushing up the price of gold dramatically. Are the Dollar's days as the reserve currency limited? No one would be surprised to hear that they are, only that the end could be so near. 

Ivan believes that the Iranian Nuclear deal is a good deal for America, especially in light of the choices available. That will be seen in the future, but Ivan's view is clearly held by a minority and for good reasons in light of their past behavior.

He goes on to examine how fair or unfair that outcome may be. Then, in a step-by-step manner, he shows how this disparity in our tax system has created an unintended consequence that is quietly, but very seriously undermining our economy and now presents a critical threat for rich and poor, alike. His conclusion is that the only logical choice is the Fair Tax. 

John wrote this week about the war on cash. As usual FSN is ahead of the curve. We wrote last March about Operation Dirty Money, the US Government's ongoing effort to eliminate currency from circulation. Now in the era of negative interest rates, this effort has become a war. JP Morgan Chase amended their safe deposit box rental agreement to forbid storage of currency and non-collectible coins, in other words bullion from their customers' safe deposit boxes. A Swiss bank just refused a pension fund's request to convert its bank account into cold cash. What's next, debit cards for all? We'll soon know when the Powers That Be make that decision for us. Of course it's all for our own good. 

Jordan Eliseo is the Chief Economist for ABC Bullion out of Australia. For those not in the know, they're a large vertically integrated precious metal and gold bullion specialist. Jordan and I discussed what's going on in the International Economy, particularly China and Australia. It seems that the wave of financialization has hit the shores of the Land Down Under too. Just as in the US, the Aussies have been struck by the phenomena of too big to fail. And their reaction has been similar. Now their economy has been tanking with the decline in commodities, whereas for much of the financial crisis they appeared to be riding high. Jordan believes, as do many, that gold will again rightfully assert its role in the international monetary system. It's virtually unavoidable. 

More and more appliances are being connected to the internet these days. I have an internet wired alarm clock. Others have internet connected refrigerators and coffee makers. Unfortunately, manufacturers have not built firewalls and other basic security into these devices which has left an opening for malicious hackers. Therefore, your internet enabled coffee pot could in fact lead them to all your credit cards and banking info. So be careful and change your passwords on a regular basis. It could be your only protection. 

Bill Tatro former radio guy and master communicator says that when it comes to Hillary Clinton getting elected, all it takes is a lot of money and a lot of chutzpah and she'll be the next president. Of course the Clintons have never had a shortage of either, except when they left the White House when they were "flat broke." With today's low information voter who votes with her emotional barometer rather than any sense of the country's well-being, it's distinctly possible that Bill is right. Then again, with the scandal of the swirling around Hillary, who knows? 

Gold and Silver haven't been this attractive since 2007. Gold relative to the S&P 500 hasn't been this good since 2007. Silver is now priced below the price of production. Even the Silver to Gold ratio is now relevant. The level is extremely low, silver is so low and attitudes are so bad that people are now spitting on the metals, which means that they're set up to go higher. It's just a question of when, but when it does, watch out. We just don't know what the catalyst will be. Ned believes the dollar topped out three months ago and major movements will be happening soon.  

Today's Fed is taking a page out of Islamic Finance, zero percent interest rates is an idea who's time has come. Except for our erstwhile born again student loan debtor. Seems he discovered religion too late. He borrowed before he became devout and now if he doesn't pay back his loans, he's not going to enter paradise when he dies, too bad. 

Did you hear about how Wisconsin was breaking down people's doors on a political witch hunt, all in the name of opposing Scott Brown's anti-public union agenda? Well it actually happened to a number of people in the Badger State. 

California the once Golden State is falling to pieces. There's a complete failure of leadership and the middle class is becoming an endangered species. Sad but true. What can be done, probably not much as the productive people flee the state in droves for places like Texas and Florida. 

Allen Kors looked around at the student loan debt bubble and was appalled. He decided to do something about it and started AchieveLending.com. It's an online marketplace where borrowers can choose from a multitude of lenders to refinance their student loan debt among others. The proof of the pudding is in the tasting and the concept is really starting to take off. Allen expects over 50 lenders to be participating shortly. 

We connectec with Peter Grandich today after a long hiatus. Peter is pessimistic about the future. The problems are not being addressed and the debt keeps mounting. Individual investors are chasing yield and will wind up getting burned as usual. American dominance, both economic and military is fading and this bodes ill for the world and for Americans. You need to be prepared so you aren't caught flatfooted.
